Details of International Recruitment, Relocation and Hosting Services
As stated elsewhere, the scope of our offerings is flexible an tailored to the client's
needs and preferences. Furthermore many of the steps are highly country specific,
further obscured by Dutch based acronyms and content.
For those reasons we suffice with a non-exhaustive listing of categories, re- iterating
that further customisation is the rule rather than the exception.
Recruitment
Whereas recruitment of specialist knowledge workers usually is a core activity of the
client's line management and the HR-Dept., in some cases supported by executive
search firms, we may very well assist in the search for and selection of generalists,
either within other EU-countries, of in offshore locations, where we maintain good
contacts with a competent network of highly reputable resource pools.
Immigration
We can take care of the complete administrative procedure (from preliminary permits
provided by the Dutch diplomatic representation in the country of origin, permanent or
temporary residence and working permits granted by the IND and issued by the
municipality, to employment licenses for the future employer, payroll inscriptions,
employment contracts).
We can also arrange all travel (familiarisation, final immigration) and accompany the
new entrant on all required "visits", e,g. inscription in the basic administration, health
checks, etc.
We help him in obtaining tax status, compulsory and elective insurance, bank accounts,
appropriate schooling for accompanying children, pension schemes, etc.
Housing
The availability of suitable housing is a necessary condition on immigration. At the
employer's or employee's wish we can identify and conclude agreements from single
bunks in collective facilities, through rooms and apartments, to luxury houses, villas and
residences.
Care
On request we provide the employee or assignee with ongoing expatriate care (all
contacts with the Dutch authorities, tax returns, transportation, cultural activities, etc.)
Hosting
The client may have good reasons not to employ his foreign assignees directly, but to
contract them from an agency. Perhaps they do not (yet) have a legal presence in the
Netherlands, or they want to restrict this to a legal shell. They may want to have the
flexibility benefits of hiring in. In all such cases we can act as such an agency, taking all
related administrative responsibilities.
