As an internationally operating company in the IT-industry, the Netherlands is an
attractive location for you. It enjoys a strong economy, a highly sophisticated, demand
driven services/software market, and a very well educated, IT-literate population.
Though, of course, you can access much of this potential online, or through alliances,
partnerships and channel structures, chances are that at one point in time you have
decided or will resolve to establish a local presence here.
Very probably you want to recruit locally and thus reap the full benefits of the
knowledgeable Dutch workforce. But there may also be good reasons to source some

companies, almost impossible for new entrants.
As in most advanced countries, a flourishing "relocation services" segment has
emerged, mostly consistent of local subsidiaries to large international and global
concerns. Undoubtedly competent and reliable, they usually offer a standard support
package at a premium price. This may be the preferred option for large global
companies, especially if they deal with the same provider across territories.
